Situated in the valley of the river Mersey overlooking the Cheshire plain and just a stones throw away from Manchester City Centre, there really is no wonder why so many people aspire to settle here. Schools with ‘outstanding’ Ofsted reports and convenient transport links for commuters also adds to the area’s growing popularity.

Priestnall School – Since becoming established in 1974 the school has built up a remarkable reputation undoubtably benefiting properties in the local area. The school has a capacity of 1300 and is unsurprisingly oversubscribed. The dedication from pupils, parents and Priestnall teachers has led to great accomplishments for the school. Their most recent Ofsted report in 2013 summarised the school as being ‘outstanding’ whilst Mrs J Yarwood was headteacher. CLICK TO SEE REPORT
